Georgette Carrasco - Principal
Cody Colts and Families,

I am Georgette Carrasco the extremely proud Principal of Ed Cody Elementary!!!! I am very excited to join Cody Colts where learning is dynamic, students are hardworking, parents are loving, and teachers and community members are committed to working together to help our students achieve success no matter what it takes!

I graduated from the University of A&M Kingsville with my Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, I currently have two Masters’ degree in the areas of Special Education and Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Go Runners! I value education and try to instill that learning is the one thing that no one can take away from you so; I am now working on my Doctorate’s degree. Learning is VALUABLE!!! I am currently in my 16th year in education and every year is filled with new and adventurous experiences. Before coming to Northside ISD, I had the opportunity to work in NEISD for ten years as a special education teacher team lead. I then transition to Northside ISD and became a Franklin Colt for five years, until the BEST opportunity came available at Ed Cody Elementary!

I look forward to serving our students and their families as we continue to strive towards making our students' dreams become reality!

Cody Families,

My name is Celina Quintanilla, and I am extremely happy and honored to continue working with our Cody students as your Associate Principal. I am thrilled to be part of the Cody Colts community and to collaborate with our students, families, and staff members.

I graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I then earned my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Trinity University. This year marks my eighth year in education, all within Northside. During this time, I have taught 4th and 5th grades and served as the Math Academic Support Teacher here at Cody.

I am excited to work alongside the entire Cody community and remain committed to supporting our students’ success. Together, we will continue to ensure a positive and productive learning environment for all.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your Associate Principal.
