Library Vision 

The library instills a love of reading and inquiry and empowers members of the school community to take ownership of their own lifelong learning. 

Library Mission 

● Encourage inquiry, collaboration, and creativity. 

● Engage students in critical thinking about all types of media. 

● Include community members as active partners in education. 

● Provide equal access to diverse resources and learning opportunities. 

● Build competence in the location and ethical use of information.

Library Visits

 

Students can access the library through visits scheduled by classroom teachers or with a pass.

7:55 am-4:05 pm

Open Library Mornings

Passes are available in grade-level hallways each morning at 7:55 according to the schedule below. 

Students with a pass can use the library to check out books, complete schoolwork, play board games,  and more.

  • Monday-8th grade
  • Wednesday- Makerspace and Coding Club (open to all students)
  • Thursday-7th grade
  • Friday-6th grade

Checking Out Books

The library offers over 12,000 fiction and nonfiction books for students, with even more available online.

We encourage students to read for learning and for enjoyment.

Students can access the library catalog and Sora, our online reading app, through their portal.

Students can check out up to three books at a time.

We do not charge late fees, but students will need to turn in overdue books before checking more out.
