PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
As we bring another successful school year to a close, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued partnership and support. It has been a joy working with our students and seeing their growth, resilience, and achievements throughout the year. We are proud of each and every one of them, and we already look forward to welcoming our returning students back in August.
To our outgoing 8th grade class: We wish you nothing but the best as you move on to high school and beyond. Watching you grow over the past three years has been a true honor. Remember—Once a Raider, always a Raider.
Looking ahead, we are excited to invite all families to our Back-to-School Bash on August 2nd, and Meet the Teacher Night on August 8th, with the first day of school kicking off on August 11th. It’s going to be another great year filled with opportunities to connect, grow, and succeed.
Earlier this spring, we invited feedback from parents, students, and staff regarding our school uniform policy. With the school year now ending, the majority of parent responses indicated a preference to discontinue the uniform requirement. Starting next school year, Rayburn Middle School will no longer enforce a school uniform policy and will instead follow the Northside ISD standardized dress code. Detailed information about this updated dress code will be sent out by the end of the week.
On behalf of the entire staff at Rayburn Middle School, I wish you and your family a safe, restful, and fun summer. We look forward to seeing you in August to begin another amazing school year together!
