Northside ISD proudly introduces the inaugural Class of 2025 inductees into the NISD Athletics Hall of Honor — a distinguished tribute recognizing exceptional athletic achievement, inspirational leadership, and a lasting impact on the Northside community.
This prestigious class features legendary athletes, championship teams, pioneering coaches, and devoted contributors whose influence resonates within NISD and far beyond.
The 2025 Hall of Honor Induction Ceremony will take place on Monday, July 28, at the Northside Sports Gym, located at 8400 N Loop 1604 West. The celebration will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by a reception honoring the inductees.

Honorees in the Class of 2025 are:
- Clarissa Davis-Wrightsil – A basketball icon and John Jay High School alumna, Clarissa is a two-time NCAA National Player of the Year and Olympic bronze medalist whose legacy continues to inspire generations of young athletes nationwide.
- Priest Holmes – A Marshall High School graduate and NFL standout, Holmes carved out a historic professional career with the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs, becoming one of the most accomplished running backs in league history.
- Darold Williamson – A Holmes High School alum and Olympic gold medalist, Williamson showcased Northside excellence on the global stage as part of the victorious 4x400 meter relay team at the 2004 Athens Games.
- Taurean Prince – A graduate of Warren High School and current NBA star, Prince’s path from Northside courts to the professional arena is a testament to perseverance, talent, and dedication.
- 1966 Marshall Rams Boys Basketball Team – This trailblazing squad made history by capturing the Texas state championship, earning the first boys’ basketball title in Northside ISD history, and igniting a legacy of athletic excellence.
- 2002 John Jay Mustangs Boys Basketball Team—Known for their remarkable run to the Texas state championship game, this team left an indelible mark on the community through its grit, unity, and unforgettable performances.
- Ann Krueger – A pioneering coach and passionate advocate for girls athletics, Krueger’s commitment to excellence laid the foundation for countless student-athletes to thrive in Northside ISD.
- Kirby Jameson – A respected coach, administrator, and mentor, Jameson’s decades of service helped shape the district’s athletic culture and guided countless young athletes to success on and off the field.
- Stanley Laing – As Assistant Superintendent of Athletics, Laing’s visionary leadership and Beyond the Game philosophy have elevated Northside ISD’s athletic programs, enriching the lives of students and the broader community.
