NISD teams advance to regional championships

Twenty-one teams representing 16 NISD middle school campuses competed in a FIRST LEGO League Challenge robotics qualifier event on March 29 at Hector Garcia Middle School.

FIRST LEGO League engages concepts from science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) through a fun and exciting hands-on problem-based learning model.

A total of 8 teams from the event will advance to the Northside ISD Robotics Championship, which will be held on April 12 at Bernal Middle School.

Pictures from the competition can be found here.
