Students can access these from their portal. Log in information can be found on the library catalog in the portal.

Checkouts
Destiny
Please access our library catalog via MyPortal.
To log in to Destiny, students MUST log in to the Northside Portal first, click "Library Catalog - Follett Icon" and then click the button to log in with your NISD credentials.
Parents with an account will use their 9-digit phone number (2101234567) for both the username & Password.
PK/ECSE/Kinder - Students can check out 1 book.
1st-4th grades - Students can check out up to 2 books.
5th grade - Students can check out up to 3 books.
Parents can visit the library to check out up to 5 books.
Students and parents can check out books for 10 days.
Mrs. Scherwitz must create an account for parents before they can checkout. This can be done before school or during the day.
Parents/guardians must check in with the main office (with their ID) to get a visitor's badge before visiting the library.

About Your Librarian
Hello Mora Bearcats! I am Mrs. Scherwitz your librarian!! I'm excited to help you grow a love of reading.
A little about me:
- I am married and have 2 daughters.
- I love to read and make sure that I read every day (outside of school).
- My daughters both play competitive volleyball, so when I'm not at school, you can usually find me near a volleyball court.
