Library Environment
Our library is used by students, teachers, and staff for a variety of reasons. We encourage our patrons to use the library as a fun space during lunches and before/after school.
Every Wednesday is "Wisdom Wednesday" and during the school day the library is a study space - no lunch access that is not study based during this time.
Access
During Class: All students need a Pink Pass signed by a teacher or admin in order to stay in the library during class time.
During Lunch: Students need a student ID in order to sign into the library computers for use of the library during lunch time.
JMHS library is occasionally closed due to teaching needs, meetings, school events, etc.
N-Time
Students are required to sign into N-time on the front library computers in order to enter the library in the morning, during their lunch periods, and after school.
If a student comes to the library during class time with a Pink Pass they may still be asked to sign in.
Check-Out
Books are circulated for three weeks. Students may check out up to 3 books at a time. If a student has an overdue item, checkouts will be suspended until that book is returned or paid for if lost.
All fees should be settled by the end of the semester.
Printing
JMHS library has a computer lab available for class and student use. Printing should be limited to school-related purposes.
Printing is limited to 5 pages per student. Should a student need more than 5 pages, they must first talk to the librarian about what they are printing before continuing.
