A student enrolled in courses earning high school credit (full-year or semester) may be exempt from the 2026 semester exams if the following criteria are met:

  1. The student has 3 or fewer absences (see criteria below) from Jan 6, 2026 to May 21, 2026;
  2. The student's final average for the spring semester is 80 or higher;
  3. The student's conduct grade in that class is satisfactory or better;
  4. The student is in attendance during the scheduled exam time.

Please note:

Excused absences (EADN or EAPN), unexcused absences (UA), and medical waivers (MW) WILL count towards the three or fewer absences criterion.

School business absences (ESB), health absences (H), and the two Senior College Visit (CV) days WILL NOT impact exam exemption eligibility.

A student who is eligible for exemption may take the semester exam if desired.

Students enrolled in the following courses must take their semester exams:

  • Dual Credit,
  • OnRamps,
  • College Prep Math, &
  • College Prep English
