Namesake

M'Lissa Chumbley
The Northside ISD Board of Trustees named the District’s newest elementary school for a former and longtime NISD Trustee M’Lissa M. Chumbley.

Chumbley, a graduate of Marshall HS, served on the NISD Board for 28 years (from 1995-2023). She continues to be a lifelong volunteer and advocate for public education.
